Take an overnight flight to Hong Kong where you’ll will be met and driven to the Intercontinental Hong Kong for a three-night stay. The hotel is located on the Kowloon waterfront and has spectacular views of Victoria Harbour. Watch the traditional junks weave their way through the busy waters, avoiding the many ferries that cross to ‘Hong Kong side’ or carry locals and tourists alike to the outlying islands.
There is so much to do; your time here will be as busy as you wish. Shopaholics will love Mongkok with its many themed markets: the Ladies’ Market, Night Market, Goldfish and Flower markets. If you would like to explore further afield, take the MTR to Tung Chung on Lantau Island, and ride the new cable-car to see the Po Lin Monastery and 34-metre-high Big Buddha. Return by ferry via Cheung Chau Island, where you can sit by the harbour with the local islanders and tuck into a delicious meal of freshly caught crab, fried with garlic and ginger.
No visit to Hong Kong would be complete without a tram trip to the summit of Victoria Peak, where the views over both sides of the island are spectacular.
From Hong Kong, jet off to the enchanting island of Bali, known for its dazzling beaches, hip nightlife and picturesque scenery.
