Travel to Nairobi on a direct overnight flight from London and on to Samburu for a three-night safari at stunning Sasaab. In a private conservancy, this small lodge on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River has ten romantic rooms with spectacular views. Fly straight to the Masai Mara for three nights in an octagonal tented room at fabulous Sala's Camp on the banks of the Sand and Keekorok rivers, looking into Tanzania’s Serengeti on the opposite side. This is a classic camp nestled in an indigenous forest, with spacious airy en-suite tents, each with an enticing hammock to enjoy those quite hours in the heat of the day. Your stay includes game activities, local drinks and all your meals.

Fly back to Nairobi to overnight at Giraffe Manor. Enjoy an aperitif on the terrace, observed by the giraffes, or beside the fire. You can have a private dinner in the gardens, if you wish, but you should expect the company of curious giraffes at breakfast.

Fly to Pemba via Zanzibar for a seven-night stay in a hillside room at Fundu Lagoon, each with a private deck. Your stay includes all meals (there’s a huge choice!), house drinks, dhow sunset cruise and unguided canoe safaris. The snorkelling and diving are out of this world and we would recommend you visit the local village to see how Fundu’s existence has benefited the local community.

Depart on the mid-afternoon flight from Chake Chake to Zanzibar and connect with the early evening flight to Nairobi where you board your overnight flight to the UK.
